My name is Saskia Plagge. I was born and raised in Haarlem, but I've been living in the Eindhoven area for over 10 years now with my two children. I greatly enjoy art and film, walking in nature, good food, and meaningful conversations. I also love visiting thrift stores, which is how my secondhand coaching bookshop came about. Learning, growing, and helping others in their journey are important drives in my life.
The story goes that when I was two years old, I would occasionally approach older women to ask if they were lonely and if their husbands had passed away. It may sound confronting, but I had a keen sense of who needed attention and understanding. Often, this would bring a few emotional tears. So, my drive to be there for others was evident from a young age!
I originally come from the world of classical music. I am a professional cellist with over 25 years of experience on the concert stage. Additionally, I am a passionate teacher, talent developer, and mentor. My years of experience as a cellist have taught me to show dedication, truly listen, attune myself to others, and connect. I now apply these skills in my practice. Due to my own experiences and the lack of mental guidance in my field, my passion for professionally supporting others in their personal process was born many years ago.
Over time, I have increasingly specialized in attachment, trauma, and the impact these have on your emotions, thoughts, behavior, and your ability to form healthy, interpersonal relationships. As someone with lived experience, I have been through a lot in this area and have traveled a long, educational journey. Emotional unavailability in relationships used to be a common thread in my life. I often lost myself! Now, I want others to be able to work through these themes. By healing, you will develop a healthier relationship with yourself and, from there, healthier relationships with others.
